About Us

Cher Murphy, the founder of Keela Communications, has enjoyed over 15 years of experience in the music industry and holds a degree in Journalism. She is a fervent admirer of various music genres, including Rock, CCM, Gospel, and Praise and Worship. 

Before launching Keela Communications, she served as a media and marketing liaison for Christian Art Distributors for over seven years, managing books, movies, and resources in her portfolio. 

Currently, Cher manages the Public Relations and Marketing for Collective Records, which represents The Jesus Collective consisting of renowned musicians such as Ntokozo Mbambo, Loyiso Bala, HLE, Khaya Mthethwa, Varonica Meyer, Don Vino, Charnell Joseph, and more. 

In her time with Christian Art Distributors Cher has successfully conducted radio plugging and PR campaigns in South Africa for various local artists such as Neville D and international artists, including Needtobreathe, Skillet, Bethel Music, Jesus Culture, Planetshakers, Passion, Lauren Daigle, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Michael W Smith, TobyMac, Crowder, MercyMe, Tenth Avenue North, and many others.
