Collective Records is a values-driven record label committed to developing artists whose music carries meaning, integrity, and cultural impact.

Born from the award-winning work of The Jesus Collective, Collective Records exists at the intersection of faith, artistry, and excellence — producing music across genres while remaining anchored in a clear moral and spiritual foundation. We believe music shapes culture, and culture shapes lives. For us, sound is never just sound — it’s a stewarded voice.

Founded by Hilton Petersen, Collective Records grew organically from years of grassroots ministry, mentorship, and world-class gospel music outreach across South Africa and beyond. What began as community concerts and worship gatherings in towns often overlooked by the industry became a trusted platform for artists whose stories deserved to be heard — and whose gifts deserved to be developed with care.

Today, Collective Records serves as the commercial arm of The Jesus Collective, supporting both gospel and mainstream artists who share a commitment to purpose, authenticity, and excellence. Our approach is relational, intentional, and artist-first. We don’t chase trends — we cultivate legacy.
